EcoSoya Wax-the soy wax formerly known as EcoWax!
Made with pure, 100% natural soybeans complimented
with botanical oils.
Soft enough to use in COSMETIC products. Has excellent
adhesion to containers without preheating, requires
only one pour, has an excellent scent throw with both
fragrances and essential oils and a creamy white
appearance with some potential to bloom (white frosting)
when using dyes.
Has a soft creamy appearance and a smooth
flat top surface.
Require no additives.
Just add color & fragrance.
Used for containers only.
This wax has a natural opaque creamy, off white color.
Biodegradable with soap & water.
Low shrink wax.
Melt point 122 degrees. Pour temperature approximately 125 degrees.
There is a difference in cooling rates for different container configurations. Cooling to quickly or too slowly can cause concaving and/or frosting.
* Large jars such as the apothecary configurations cool slower and require lower pour temperatures, about 125° or lower.
* Tall thin jars such as an 8 oz. canning jar cool fast, requiring a higher pour temperature, about 155°.
Cool undisturbed candles at room temperature (about 70°). The containers should be about 1-2 inches apart and placed on a cookie cooling rack to allow air circulation for even cooling. The container should remain open during cooling, at least 24hrs. Larger candles may require longer times.
