Palm Wax Pillar Candle Making Kit
This kit is considered the advanced step in learning on how
to make palm candles.
You'll be able to
make a basic pillar (free-standing) candle with this easy-to-use kit.
Palm Wax Pillar Kit Contents:
2 lbs.- Starburst Palm Wax
1 - 2.5 x 3.5 inch Metal Mold
2 - Dye Blocks (random)
2 - 2 oz. Scents (random)
Wicking, Wick Holders, Mold Sealer, Clamp, Safety Labels & Instructions
NOTE: Nu-Scents has the right to include molds, dye blocks,
and scents of our choice in kit.
Out of the this pillar kit (using the metal mold in
the kit) you could make about 5 candles.
LEARNING LESSON NOTES: (One pound = 16 oz.)
To figure
out how much wax a specific metal mold will hold, you
need to weigh the metal mold (write down that weight),
remove from scale, put a small amount of mold sealer
securely over the hole on the bottom of the metal mold
and add water to the metal mold, about .25 - .50 inch from the top.
Place back on the scale, with water in it (write down
that weight). Now subtract the two weights. This
will tell you (approximately) how much wax you will
need for that specific container. This is know as
the "tare weight".
