This is a basic lotion bar recipe that many home-crafters have been using for years. Makes 10 ounces (283.5 grams). Use lotion bar tubes.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butters slowly. Just before the butters are completely molted, remove from heat and stir until they finish melting.
- Melt the beeswax in the microwave. When melted, add to the molted butters. Add the oil and scent.
- Stir well and pour into sterile lotion bar tubes. Let sit on the counter to cool for several hours. When cool, put the caps on, and they’re ready.
