Graduation Soy Wax Candle
This graduation soy wax candle was very fun and unique to make. I’m sure the lucky graduate recipient will not be getting another candle like this one.

Ingredients:
- Nature Soy Wax C-3
- 11 oz. Tumbler Jar
- HTP-105 Wick
- Strawberry Fragrance Oil
- Red Liquid Candle Dye
- Candle Melting Pot
- Candle Dots
- Thermometer
- Safety Label
- Avery White Full Sheet Labels – Ink Jet
- Exacto knife or Scissors
- Other equipment needed: microwave or stove (double boiler method), measuring spoons and digital scale.
Directions:
Decorating Materials:
- Graduation clip art or photo copy your own. I just wanted a shiloutte image, so I did a black photo copy of a table center piece decoration and reduced it by the percentage to shrink it in size. Depended on the size of your original object will determine the percentage. You just want to make sure it fits on the glassware proportionally.
- One you get the image the size you want, cut out the copy of the image.
- Place the image face down, in one of the upper corners on your copier glass and insert your avery white full sheet lable into the paper feed and copy the image.
- Reposition your image to copy, within the copier glass, and re-insert the avery white full sheet lable into the paper feed and do another copy of the image.
- The object is to get at least six copied images on to your full avery label sheet (Fig. 1).

Fig. 1
- With an exacto knife and a safe cut mat, under the label sheet, very carefull cut out the image. Scissors can also be used (Fig. 2).

Fig. 2
- Once cut out carefull peel off the back of the image to unveil the sticky part of the image.
- Carefully and precisely place the image onto the glassware, making sure there are no creases of air pockets.

Fig. 3
Remember: Once the image is stuck on the glassware, there is no repositioning it!
