Candle Making Color Wheel

Primary: Three main colors that cannot be created by mixing other colors.
Secondary: A color created by mixing 2 Primary colors.
Tertiary: A color created by mixing 2 Secondary colors.
Complementary Colors: The Primary color and the Secondary color that are opposite each other on the color wheel (i.e. Yellow and Purple)
Hue: The pure color.
Tone: Hue + small amount of gray or opposite color (will mute or tone down the color)
Tint: Hue + White (will lighten the color)
Complement Tint: Tint + small amount of gray or opposite color (will mute or tone down the color)
Shade: Hue + Black (will darken the color)
