Clary Sage Essential Oil (PG)(Salvia Sclarea) is a colorless or pale yellow-green liquid with a sweet, nutty-herbaceous scent. The oil and absolute are used as fragrance components and fixatives in soaps, detergents, cosmetics and perfumes. The oil is used extensively by the food and drink industry, especially in the production of wines with a muscatel flavor.

Applications: It calms and balances the spirit. It is considered to be sedating, it reduces stress and brings on a sense of tranquility. It is especially balancing on female hormones and can be used to treat PMS, menstrual cramps, postnatal depression, menopause and irregular cycles.
