DIY Flu Remedy: White Thyme Spray Recipe

The air has turned colder, there are whispers that snow may be coming, and flu season has arrived.  Stop the spread of the terrible virus with this wonderful remedy.  White Thyme Essential Oil has antibacterial properties that destroy airborne viruses on contact.  It is a natural way to “boost your immune system.”  This potent antiseptic has been used for centuries to protect against diseases and illnesses.  White Thyme has been known to be used in hospitals throughout Africa to completely rid the air of germs.  Use the recipe below to create a room spray that can help kill the germs in the air.

Ingredients:

• 10-15 drops White Thyme Essential Oil
• 1 Tbsp Witch Hazel
• 2 cups Water
• Spray Bottle

Recipe Directions:

1. Combine the Witch Hazel and Water in the Spray Bottle.
2. Add the White Thyme Essential Oil to the Spray Bottle.
3. To use:  Shake well.  Spritz the air to help kill the germs.
