Flavor Oils
Lip balm flavor oils are fragrance oils that are approved for use in lip balm products. They lend a "scent" to lip balms. Although flavor oils contain small amounts of essential oils, they are not considered natural.

Lip balm flavor oils are generally used at a rate of about 1% to 3% in lip balm formulations.
(Ex: Based on 1 pound of lip balm base, 1%=1 tsp. / 3%=1 tbsp. of flavor oil)
