Sanitizing Bath and Body Containers

We had some customers ask how one would sterilize containers for bath and body products.  In many of our recipes we mention to use a sterile container.  When you purchase a container from a store, they are not necessarily sterilized.  They could have been sitting in dust and dirt on shelves for who knows how long.

A good way to sterilize the containers that you would like to use for your shampoos, lotions, lip balms, and other bath and body products is to use bleach and water.  Wash the containers in a bleach and water combination and let them completely air dry (you don’t want to get any unwanted towel fuzzies in there).
